*DREAM-DANCE-BODY-WORKSHOP
Presenter: Inge Missmahl
Very often one of the problems in Psychonalysis and Psychotherapy is to bridge the gap between insight, intention and actual behaviour.
Symbolic movement can offer the opportunity to experience oneself in a new way, to try out new gestures and to relate those movement experiences to associations and images.
Movement and dreams, both are an expression of the unconscious. Often they are related closely to each other.
In this workshop we will explore our dreams and look for the personal developmental task for the dreamer which is hidden in the dream.
First we will share dreams in the group and then we will translate the dream images into movement structures. The basis of the movement structures is the movement analysis of Rudolph von Laban. While exploring these movement structures we will expand our movement vocabulary and will experience ourselves in a creative and symbolic way through movement and dance. This usually provides an experience of deep insight and joyful freedom opening personal possibilities in a playful way.
